That has genuine upside, and FareHarbor explains why: by not allowing third-party plugins or widgets, they keep every client's site secure and stable, no outdated plugin breaking your booking flow. The trade-off is flexibility. Their theme "does not support any third-party plugins or widgets," there's no built-in e-commerce (they suggest linking out to Shopify or Ecwid for retail), and customization lives within what the shared theme allows.


For a lot of operators, that's a fair trade: a clean, secure, well-supported site without the maintenance headache. If that's you, it's a point in FareHarbor's favor, not against.
